Sh. Abdul Majid Exports Company was set up by Sheikh
Abdul Majid in the year 1944, starting with hand carved wood
items and handicrafts. The company started export in the year
1955 and since then have been regularly bagging awards in 1960,
3rd prize in the all India National Design Competition, and
“The International Award for Best Industrial & Commercial
Profile” of Edicon – Executive Committee of Spain.
The firm has bagged two National awards and seven Uttar Pradesh
state government awards on export performance. Born in wood
the company has bagged two national awards on export of wrought
iron handicrafts.
We participated in International trade fairs in Singapore,
Hong Kong, Manila, China, Frankfurt, Birmingham, The Hauge,
Sao Paulo, Argentina, U.S.A. & Canada for the export promotion
of wooden handicrafts and with this vast exposure to International
Wooden Industry of promoting Indian Handicrafts, we have received
immense response and we are fulfilling their needs with great
pleasure and utmost care in terms of Quality and timely disbursement

Accessories like Bird Feeders, Garden Markers, Bird Houses,
Lamps, Baskets, Votives etc.
Mohammad Iqbal, the proprietor of the company is the president
of Wood Carving Association of Saharanpur since last 10 years.
We have arranged many Export / Industrial seminars and other
activities to boost the exports of wooden industry.
Throughout my life we have worked for the upliftment of the
people of this industry. He is the Vice President of Udyog
Vyapaar Mandal and Secretary of International Goodwill Society
of India. He was on the panel of Uttar Pradesh Labour Commission.
He was Deputy Divisional warded of Civil Deface Saharanpur
(Uttar Pradesh). Presently he is the representative of Mr.
Sanjay Garg, minister of State for Taxation to look after
the tax matters of the industry.
